SPEECH CONTEST
- Classroom speeches will be given Tuesday and Wednesday of next week (Dec 9 and 10)
- "Hero" speeches can be based on their Hero Expository 5-Paragraph Essay
- Those students interested in entering the District Contest have identified themselves and have been briefed in class regarding the rules of the contest. Contest information was sent home today only for those students who have volunteered for the District Contest.
- The only requirements for the classroom speeches are: 1) a completed 5-paragraph essay and 2) an oral 3-5 minute presentation on their Hero
- NO HOMEWORK is assigned in conjunction with the Speech Contest or the oral in-class presentations; ALL speech research, writing and practice is to be completed outside of class
FIELD TRIP
- Peter Pan Field Trip is Friday, Dec 12!
